This is hypothetical. I get it, don’t get married in the first place. I’m personally not even in any sort of LTR, or ever planning on it.
On paper, it’s hard to see what men get out of marriage in 2020. When you look at the clear sexism surrounding resource division upon divorce (including custody/time with children), coupled with the ridiculous divorce rates, any man with a good head on their shoulders is gonna steer clear.
Would there be a way to approach a marriage, contractually/legally speaking, that lowers the risk for the man and evens out the playing field in the case of a divorce?
My buddy is planning on proposing to his gf soon and I’d be gutted to see his life get ripped open with lifelong funding of his soon-to-be ex wife after she gets bored and rides chads dick.
We all know pretty well you can’t convert a man from blue to red he must discover it himself through experience, but I don’t want my buddy to get ruined forever for that lesson.
