Here are some additional details in case you were wondering

Hello,

I wanted to ask you your opinion on my status as an employee and if you think I will be terminated.

Our department transitioned from one chair to the next, and during the previous 2 years, I worked 20 hours a week, and was paid $50,000.

Once we transitioned to a new chair, my hours increased, and my pay remained the same.

Here are a few red flags I noticed within the last two weeks

*Two weeks ago, I showed up late to a meeting (45 minutes), and the chair asked who signs off on my timesheet.

*She has asked twice who signs off on my timesheet, and wants to switch me from salary to what sounds like hourly.

*She called an impromptu "performance" meeting on a Tuesday morning at 8am to go over expectations and guidelines the day after a faculty member said I was "unaccounted for," paraphrasing, but its roughly what was said about me.

*She wants to move my office from one building, right next to hers by January 2nd.

So based on what I told you, do you believe those red flags mentioned. I will eventually by cut, and asked to leave?

I am looking for jobs now, but I don't know if I should quit to put more energy into the job search, or toughen it out until I find something solid.

My biggest concern at this point is if I end up getting invited to an interview, she will eventually fire me because she's already built a case against me.

Thank You.
