The internet is a great place to develop a career. Learning coding languages for instance and depending on how good you become can easy fetch a 6 figure salary. It's too bad the internet is for porn.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that universities are systematically misandrist (one could even call it "systemic misandry") and that something else needs to happen. There is a lot of talk about trade schools and the need to revive vocational education. This is true, but it's not the whole story. Men will still be (will always be) the power behind more theoretical and scientific work.

Wherever the majority of men end up, whether in or out of universities, there will be all the new ideas and all the new initiatives. We need to keep this in mind. If men start to abandon the universities, where will they go? What will they do? How will they invest their talent and energy and interests? These are the interesting questions now.

University isn't there to teach you about life, it's there to teach you skills that you will need for a high paying job. Many people on this sub diss college in favour of the trades but the average guy who is in the trades doesn't make as much money as the average guy who is in STEM, even 10 years later, the guy who chose a good STEM degree is making way more than the guy who went in the trades and he doesn't have to suffer ice cold winters and boiling hot summers, and the guy who went in the trades also has a much lower life expectancy. But I get it, not everyone is smart enough to go into STEM, so some have no other choice than to go in the trades if they want to make a decent living.
