First of all, this thing is behind the paywall, so I couldn't get to the meat of this. But I'll say this. People have been parents through thick and thin for centuries. I mean, it's not the first epidemic where people had to raise kids and try to earn a living (looking at you Black Death). And parents have had to struggle through wars and famine and financial collapses and they ended up surviving with probably not that much whining.

However, I realized this is the woke social media era, where everything is an excuse for a "conversation". In this woman's case, she has to because she's a single mom who for years was milking the system for all its worth. Now that COVID-19 has fucked everything up for everyone in a greater or lesser degree, now she can't throw her kids in a daycare anymore while she has to work and actually look after them. You know, LIKE A MOTHER IS SUPPOSED TO! And speaking of, from what I got, she's a fucking food blogger. Like that's an essential work. I could do the same. Btw, this is the website: https://smittenkitchen.com/. Nothing special. It's basically a concept that was probably done better by pre Internet dinosaurs such as Julia Childs.

Edit: I finally got to somehow get past the paywall without paying. Turns out she's married, but she definitely sounds like a single mother. But surprise surprise, she was paying a babysitter before this. And her husband had a nice cozy full time office job before he got laid off so now she's the breadwinner. Working as a food blogger. I'm sorry ladies, but if anyone of you is reading this, you blew your shot. It's one thing calling yourselves strong and empowered when things are going your way, but it's another when you finally get your chance to show the world you are as capable, if not more than, as a man, you start belting out sob stories. And that just makes you look weak and pathetic as women. Indeed, it makes you look like the weak gender that needs men to support them. Not to mention that these articles make you sound so angry and bitter at just the concept of having children. And again, no wonder why women support abortion and divorce so much. And no wonder why men are increasingly refusing to marry you. They're getting tired of your nonsense.

I see this as feminism coming home to roost and it’s a good thing. Women have been on their high horse so long because both parents could work. Now they will be put in their place. I’ve made sacrifices for my kids in my life that this lady couldn’t even fathom and I’m still making them every day. Women, stay home and let a man support you. You’re a crappy employee any way. And when the workforce gets chopped in half the demand for workers should go up and help wages. And frankly I think it’s hilarious.
