I remember how my grandma used to cook lasagnas to my grandpa and sometimes for me too when I was with them. She used to prepare the pasta from scratch, cut generous slices of cheese and ham from a massive fresh piece of ham. She used to make that thick red sauce herself, peeling tomatoes and cooking them on a pan.

Naturally, I compared with how my mom used to cook the same lasagna for us at home. She used to buy pre-cooked noodles from the fridge in the market, thin slices of ham and cheese in a Styrofoam tray and tomato sauce in a can. Quickly she could stack up the layers on top of each other and the oven would do the rest. It wasn't half tasty as my grandma's recipe, but rather good.

Now... Well... It's my time. My wife doesn't cook nor she knows how to cook lasagnas at all. I have to buy frozen lasagnas in the supermarket that wash themselves when the ice defrosts, removing all the flavors from the food, and dismount themselves in the process. She doesn't even can put them in the microwave and prepare the dinner for me. I have to do all, from buying, to heating, to washing the dishes later.

That's how my wife dedicates herself to her husband.
