I noticed this cute girl in my class last week who sits far away from me. She has cool sneakers and sneaker collecting is one of my hobbies. Today was the last day of class, I planned to approach her but the professor dismissed us from class by calling us by making us pass our last essays by calling us by roll call, except he started from the bottom first. My last name is one of the last alphabets while hers is the beginning. I was one of the first to be dismissed from class and thought it would be pretty creepy if I lingered around the doorway waiting for her. I walked down the stairs very slowly, hoping she would catch up to me. Unfortunately, I never saw her again.

I can't lie I did catch a little case of oneitis as I developed a crush on her, but it was a great learning experience. This truly taught me why rejection is better than not approaching.

Nail it in your head that rejection is better than regret.

No one here can magically make you approach if you don't want to.

Set a goal of getting a number and date by number 100. Then, every rejection, just make a note in your phone. Learn from each interaction.

Look at every rejection as another step towards success.
