I recall that a person said that black people are disproportionately obese in America, which therefore makes obesity racist. Here's a NYT article (https://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/06/opinion/sunday/why-black-women-are-fat.html) and Grio (https://thegrio.com/2010/06/21/how-obesity-has-become-a-part-of-black-culture/). The latter more of explains why the black population is disproportionately obese.

Actually it’s a really really big thingy. So since African Americans make up a large portion of the lower income Americans they have a higher chance of eating at fast food restaurants, this in turn leads to higher rates of obesity, that in turn leads it to being an anti-black slur. Now I don’t necessary agree with it, but that is the facts.

I don't mean to quibble with you, sir, but BlackFatQueer does not have an issue with the word "fat". Specifically, she hates the term "obese" even though that is a medical term used to describe a particular level of fatness, and not really an insult.

  1. If all obese people are black, then labelling people obese is anti-black
  2. All obese people are black
  3. Therefore labelling people obese is anti-black

She's not merely claiming that all black people are obese. She's claiming that only black people are obese.

Interestingly in the context of feminists' confected grievances about pay 'gaps', verbal reasoning skills are a significant pay differentiator in the job market. It looks like the postmodern reasoning methods she was taught in her gender studies class are something of a liability in that respect.
