Back in my super beta days I was friends with a girl I had a huge crush on. It was college, we would eat dinner in the cafeteria together, share ice cream etc. But the weekend would come and she’s go out w her girls and I’d stay in like a loser. The last year or so of college we drifted away.

We graduated 7 years ago (we will be 30 this year) and I randomly started talking to her on Instagram. I suggested dinner and she agreed. I know she recently got divorced but I’m not sure that she knows that I know that.

We kept texting and I asked "so what are you getting me for my birthday?" etc etc, and back and forth she's getting me a back massager tool thingy for $30! I feel kinda bad since she hasn't seen me in so long but I'll take it? Wtf? Very weird.
