This is so true. When I broke up with my last 2 exes, they both said “I don’t get it, we’re so compatible and get along so well” Truth is, we weren’t compatible at all, it was just me who was changing myself to cater to their personality. The first guy was sporty and extroverted and liked drinking, so I did those things too and pretended to enjoy them. The second guy was super nerdy, played video games all day and never left his house, and I did those things too to appease him. Neither of them ever asked what I wanted to do.
It got to the point where I would even agree with their toxic political views even if deep down I was against what they were saying. I even made my libido match theirs.
Once I found FDS, I discovered the woman that I really am, my likes, dislikes and preferences, independent of any man, and I no longer conform to them. They either complement my personality and lifestyle, or they don’t and they’re gone.
