Just got hit with the “I’m getting back with my ex” message from a girl i had been seeing recently and its put me in a mess. We lived relatively far away and being a student who also works full time there wasn’t much time we could make to see each other. She said she really liked me but she wasn’t interested in taking it any further. I just sent a short “that’s fine, see you round” and am now ghosting her per standard. Where am I going wrong here and how do I keep girls attention when they’re not as local as would be handy (live in a small town, everybody knows eachother) and with this girl in specific what do you guys suggest is the best way forward if she begins hitting the apologies in a few months time as I stumble there
