Context: Girl was very interested but I had escalated VERY slowly. She canceled some plans to hangout (via text), gave an excuse, and indirectly stated "we're just friends" (friendzoned). That's ok, I'll learn from my mistakes and move on (not gonna orbit). I replied "no problem" and left it at that. Days later I get:

Text: "Sorry about the other day, that wasn't about you at all. I hope that didn't interfere with us but if it did I understand. (Another excuse for canceling here) but again if that was it for us, I understand."

Not sure what triggered this, she's canceled before without giving any apologies. Here's what I've considered: A. She's either still interested and just frustrated with my lack of escalation or B. she is just looking for closure or trying some type of orbiter bait
