An interesting article by earnest.com (see below) did a side-by-side comparison between men & women with respect to Net Worth.

The article itself has multiple comparisons based on education attainment, age, etc...

However, the real crown jewel of this article is the idea that men are investors & women are more ”conservative” with their money.

Quote 1:

On average, young professional men and women both have positive net worth. However, there is a large gap in net worth between men and women. Men have more than double the net worth of women, averaging $12,188 compared to the female average of $5,541.

Additionally, the article goes on to to say that this gap widens exponentially in their retirement accounts.

Quote 2:

  • On average, women have investment account balances totaling $19,541 compared to the male average of $26,717. They have significantly lower balances in their investment and retirement accounts. This is particularly troublesome: over time, the investment gap will grow exponentially.*

Quote 3:

While today, the gap is $7,177. Fast forward 30 years and that same gap, invested in a fund earning 5% annually and no further contributions), that gap will more than quadruple to $32,161.

The article uses the usual dribble & bullcrap to justify why this gap exists without solely placing the blame on women’s choices in careers & subsequently, their income (despite their data clearly stating higher earnings in male-dominated fields):

”This investment gap could be explained by a few factors:”

”Lower starting salaries” ”Persistent wage gap” ”Behavioral bias toward risk-taking” ”Etc.”

In other words, they refuse to acknowledge that consistent with their data, higher income relates directly to higher investments.

So, it stands to reason, that men with (usually) higher salaries given their career choices naturally gravitate towards investing.

What does this all say?

Suicide rates for men are through the fu-king roof. Depression rates for men are through the fu-king roof. Homicide rates for men are through the fu-king roof — not a peep!

However, men make more money — this is unfair! There’s a gender wage gap!

Men, take care of yourselves. Plan for your retirement. Invest, invest, invest.

Nobody in our society will subsidize a man who spent his money, youth, & life philandering with women as a lothario.

However, little old ladies, single mothers, & women who have *wasted** their youth partying, traveling, & sleeping around are adored by society. Betas are willing to throw them lifelines to reel them in and save them, a.k.a. White Knights.*

But, nobody will give a sh-t or a f-ck about you. Nobody except you. And your male buddies will be too busy surviving in a world that also wants them dead, broke, and driven before women in utter humiliation.

Be a man. Grow a pair if you haven’t already & prepare for winter because it is coming and there’s nobody who will save us when we get there unprepared.
