Backstory: I'm having dinner with a single mother, and her seventeen year-old daughter. Since Dad, of course, was removed from the picture, I'm the occasional voice of the male perspective. The daughter is upset. She was dating this boy, and twice he asked her if when they were going out, there was going to be sex. Twice, the girl said, "No, and stop asking me."

In other words, Mom, despite feminism, had been training the daughter in leveraging pussy. Except something went wrong. After the second episode of "I control sex, and I'll dispense it when I feel like it" the boy, who she really liked, ghosted her.

Daughter: "How could he? I told him I wanted to get to know him, and I didn't want any pressure. All he wanted was sex."

Me: "Who put you in charge? You have every right to say "no" and guess what? He has every right to not like that, and to move on. And how do you know all he wanted was sex? Maybe sex is part of getting to know you? I would have done EXACTLY what he did."

*crickets*

It's nice to think that this will keep her from playing this game in the future, but we all know she will. Still, if felt good.
