This was back in college and she was religious too. At first when she told me, I was just taken aback(alarmed) and partially confused. Also, because of her body language after I asked for the details of the rape, I got the clear perception from her that I was supposed to give IMMEDIATE and UNCONDITIONAL support to her, and that my asking questions about it was unwelcome. I guess my hesitance in doing that repulsed her-I never saw her again.

I've been reflecting on this, and why the fuck is it not even legitimate to ask questions? Women DO lie about rape, in the majority of rape cases the victim KNEW the accuser(3 out of 4 cases), and finally women DO abuse men with the 'damsel in distress' fantasy. Also, she said she was at a party. Was she drinking too much? was she or the rapist on drugs? Because lets face it, if you lock a woman in a closet, that's damned serious, and unless the person kills her, she can just go to the police and destroy that person's life.

While I'll never know the full situation, I was made to feel like less of a man because I didn't give instant, unconditional support. Obviously if she was raped and locked up, it's fucking wrong, but as usual she probably didn't want me asking questions because there was something about the situation I wasn't supposed to know about.

Stay sharp lads. Don't let women's lies and fantasies take away your peace.

EDIT: I've concluded that while there are definitely things that make me HIGHLY, HIGHLY skeptical of her story, enough doubt exists that I can't reasonably make a conclusion either way.
