Exactly this. It kills me how many women are now complaining that marriage and LTRs are in rapid decline, yet still somehow have the temerity to say that men have a responsibility to help set things right.

The balkanization of the sexes while removing all distinctions between gender is a society making a kamikaze run towards a brick wall. Men and women have been put into competitive and antagonistic positions, largely by state and corporate powers. However, men and women are fundamentally different and complementary. Pitting them against each other will not test like against like, but tribe against tribe. In an effort to make a more egalitarian society, men have willingly laid down their arms (physical violence) to compete more fairly with women. In the meantime, women have weaponized their arms (social violence) in an effort to gain a competitive advantage while the guard of men has been down. They have galvanized this advantage through the use of corporate and state power. The end result is men are realizing that a period a supposed détente has really been an opportunity to move in a Trojan Horse. As more men see casualties of female social violence pile up due to Woke, MeToo, TimesUp, BLM and other feminist offshoot movements, men are embracing pacifist philosophies like MGTOW, withdrawing from the front and willingly ceding territory. For the time being, technology offers a reprieve and compensation that has made this trade-off beneficial for some men, as the author points out. However, there will come a time in the future when women and their male simps will break down the ramparts, push through the gates, and the choice will be for men to pick up the arms of physical violence again or be enslaved. In a corporeal world, physical violence is the ultimate authority. There will be no chance for women once a conflict reaches that point.

I find solace in knowing that at least men’s happiness seems to be on the rise. I can adopt the childish live-in-the-moment mentality so rife through millennialism, and enjoy the fact I’m living in the era of Xbox and legalized marijuana, resting comfortably knowing the most strident form of persecution I might face for my refusal to pursue engagement with the circus which surrounds me is the shrill, banshee wailing of women shaming me (or men shaming me as women’s proxy).

I just tell them I'm talking to a few different women right now and don't see the point in settling, then go home to my dog and giant TV and play vidya and smoke blunts with my friends all night. I used to worry about earning enough to support a family but if it's just me and the dog then I'm doing just fine

Yes, marriage is a contract in which the woman can retract any and all benefits to the male party at any time and still reap all it's benefits, oftentimes even after the marriage contract is ended. From a business perspective you would have to be insane to sign on the dotted line.

Was a good read, would recommend. I didn't know that millennials actually get the red pills but I guess that's a good sign if more of the younger generation acknowledge the situation maybe just maybe others will realize how far we've gone in the wrong direction
