I feel like I am going to have to always be super presentable just in case...

I don't have class on friday and slept over thursday at my boyfriend's after we helped out at our club's competition. I'm having a lazy afternoon for the first time in weeks. Didn't even brush my hair and just eating lunch watching an episode of supernatural. I start hearing noises at the door and I get scared, looking through the peephole I see this tiny asian lady trying to figure out which key to use. I realized it was his mom and ran to the bathroom to hide, supernatural was still on so I ran to turn it off and was just closing the bathroom door when she opened the front door. I locked the door and turned off the lights and sat quietly while she rummaged through things at the desk right next to where I was hiding.

My official first meeting with his mom is this evening! I didnt want her first impression of me to be when I was in lazy afternoon mode. Lol Oh and did I mention she bought a house 2 blocks away from him!? In his family everyone has an extra key to everyone else's house partly because they invest in a lot of houses and the family helps each other out with tasks (like my bf took out her trash last night).

This is more of a story but it made me realize that I have to keep working on my mindset and personal standards.

I realize that once I get up I want to be presentable right away even if Im alone in the house because who knows if someone comes knocking?

There were some dishes I hadn't done and that just added clutter and a bad impression.

I also want to stop eating and watching tv. This is healthy advice but its hard for me because I'm a multitasker.

But yeah these were just some thoughts while I sat in the dark hiding from my bf's mom. I will meet her tonight and cook for her! Hoping all goes well!
