Not gonna lie, he was good at hiding it at first. But frankly they always reveal themselves after a while. He "got in shape" for the sake of attracting women. His primary goal is finding a girlfriend. He spends around 75% of his monthly pay on dates which never go past a visit to a bar/restaurant (and was late with rent twice because of it). Hell, he tried to hookup up with an old friend and got shot down. He tries to play the "cool guy" that gets laid all the time, but then gets upset at women when he can't get anyone to stick around.

Obviously he spouts all the "it's scary to be a woman" and "women need to be protected" drivel, but it's more like he's trying to convince himself more than everyone else. An interesting case study, especially since he will get particularly upset if he gets called out on it.

I was bad, but not that bad. It's a horrifying reminder of what could have been.
