I get it, it's Christmas, so you're gonna take this two weeks break of everything, you're not studying/working you're not lifting because you maybe go to your hometown and you don't have a gym there, you are eating and boozeing like a mad man because is that "special time of the year" Ever wondered why everybody goes with the "Christmas spirit" even if they hate everything religion based ?
Because we want an excuse to let ourselves go on a premise: new year, new me.
That idea is gonna be your gateway for every glass of wine, every piece of candy or every hour you spend not doing what you're supposed to do.
This two weeks dopamine rollercoaster is gonna leave you 3 kg heavier (7 pounds for the american gents) two weeks late on your goals And feeling like shit because, let's be realistic, you are not starting on January first, aren't you?
You know what build habits? MOMENTUM start today, you are already late.
PD: if you're are gonna start reasoning why your situation is different because nonsense. Don't even bother, I wrote this for myself, I'm no better man that any of you but at least I'm not lying to myself this Christmas
Enjoy your holidays, I know I'm not enjoying mine.
