I (25F) happen to be in a casual relationship with an acquaintance (26M). I know RPW are against casual relationship but please hear me out. So, i've been seeing this guy in the past 4 months, while we were both attracted to each other when we started this, I realized that my feeling for him keep growing. I don't mind if our relationship progresses into something serious if the feeling is mutual, but I don't know the person that well to decide if I want to invest to make it work. I know it was a wrong decision to sleep with someone before carefully vetting to see if that person has the quality to be a long term partner, sex does create a sense of intimacy and it clouds your judgement toward the other person. I honestly just wanted to have not complicated no string attached relationship with someone I trust before I read more stuff about relationship and I have different opinion abt relationship now. How can I move past my infatuation so I can really see him better as a person? Like if you ladies can suggest some concrete actions, that would be great. The issues is, since we're in casual relationship, we dont intensely communicate with each other or meet that often, especially bcs he's mostly away for business trip. What can I do to get a better understanding of him as a person without coming off as clingy or needy because I'm suddenly actively contacting him. I don't want to have the talk until i'm sure with my feeling and I know what I really want from the relationship with him.
