Yes, I think so. It’s all about verifying their status and that verifying is from other women, not men. It’s not what you actually are but what you are perceived as. The social value of men declined a long time ago.

From what I grasp of it with women, its validation in every expression of the word. But it also secures their need for resources when it BENEFITS them.
