I actually recently started getting my full body done, brazillian included. After the first session the hair that grew back was way finer than before, and its getting more like the texture of arm hair after each session, making it much easier to shave. My derm that does it told me that because of hormones it will like never go away entirely, but will be MUCH easier to shave now once it gets thinner and thinner. No regrets at all, and the pain is surprisingly less than on the lower legs.

I’ve had laser treatments (Brazilian and Armpits) - the hair doesn’t go away completely, but it’s hardly a problem, it’s so much finer, it’s more like fluff. But yes, you do still need to shave to stay smooth. Best thing I’ve ever done though, I occasionally used to get shave rash down there and that is a distant memory now.

I had full Brazilian hair removal almost 4 years ago. I highly recommend it! I have no regrets.

It's important to do your research and choose a place with a good reputation. I would avoid the really low cost offers on sites like Groupon. If your town has a local subreddit or Facebook group it might be worth asking for recommendations there.

I'm still pretty much completely smooth years later with the exception of some fine ("baby") hair that's really easy to shave and doesn't cause razor burn. I shave maybe once a week but I could probably go a little longer if I wanted to.

I probably wouldn't myself as no hair down there seems somewhat infantilizing to me. I'd definitely do my bikini line, but committing to lazering off all my hair permanently isn't for me.

However, my friend got it done and loves it! It's all personal preference, I guess.
