I’ve been in your position and completely understand the pride of 100% supporting yourself And I salute you. I grew up poor, worked whatever jobs paid the bills, and paid 100% of my own way through university. Went on to a decent career, but dealt with a couple bad layoff situations.

Nobody cares about you when dealing with the bad situations, but everyone is jealous, and wants a piece of you, when you’re doing well. Your down times are when you learn who your real friends are.

I went my own way as much for the false friends as I did for the women in my life who Can‘t Understand Normal Thinking.

SAVE and dont be tempted to take on debt. New things are new for a very short amount of time and arent ever really worth their price new.

Maybe you already figured this all out, but this was a real struggle I had to overcome as a former poor kid turned junky loser.

Being Debt-free is about the greatest thing in the world. Everywhere you go, someones trying to get you, ESPECIALLY once they find out you got that new money. Be it banks, or credit card companies, or fake friends and family, or hoes and Family Court, or car dealerships etc.
