I don’t post much on Reddit at all so the formatting may be off.
So I would say I discovered the red pill like how most guys do, they’ve had a string of unsuccessful relationships or they got rejected a number of times and they just wanted answers as to why they were having so much trouble developing meaningful relationships. I actually broke off a three month long relationship that I was in with a girl I met on tinder about a month ago because I thought she was displaying things that I would deem as manipulative and some of the things she did really were.
It messed me up because it really did make me feel as though all women act the same way. I kept seeing patterns in girls that I would date and it all came back to the red pill. Young girls don’t like nice guys, women only like you for the things that you can provide, hold frame no matter what or she won’t have sex with you or cheat on you and you’ll never know because they can keep secrets and will take it to the grave. I turned into an emotionless, depressed shell of the man I was before. Any time I showed any sort of weakness (I.e. I had a blister on my toe and put a band aid over it) she would either make fun of me or grow distant. I couldn’t bring myself to trust her at all, I was constantly wondering if she was secretly texting other dudes behind my back.
It could honestly be confirmation bias, maybe I just keep seeing things like this because of my preconceived notions. I don’t know, but there is almost certainly no turning back at this point. I want help, I really do. But part of me knows I’m never going to mentally recover from this.
