I’m in a new town and I know no one.
I’m trying to meet people. Trying and failing with some successes but something I’ve realized is that I’m over investing.
I care to much of someone’s opinion or I feel bad when I get flaked on.
If I’m playing music I turn it down when someone walks by at work because I care what they think of my music taste. I tried not touching my phone when someone walked by and i was playing music and it stung not turning it down.
An example right now is I planned to talk to a friend at a certain time today to catch up over the phone. I called him and he didn’t pick up. For some reason it hurts and I care to much about it.
How do I stop over investing?
