Hello everyone, it's gonna be slightly long.
Lately, since two weeks ago I would say, I have got a huge load of stress from work, I get home by the end of the day really tired and keep thinking about work and stuff I've got to do etc. Anyway, I noticed that this caused me to show some beta traits from time to time (easily irritated or throwing little "tantrums" here and there over trivial shit), which isn't me at all.
I think that my LTR picked this up, they really are good at jauging changes in our behaviors, body language etc. There is this weird feeling about the dynamics that have slightly changed, as if she starts having, or at least thinking, she's got more power in the relationship since about two weeks ago. Very weird dynamics, not used to it since I've always been the one who decide shit and whatnot. She has always been the one who chases me, since the beginning of the LTR. Constantly.
And this adds more stress than I need to other stuff related to work etc. I also maybe unconsciously showed some needy traits (e.g. talked to her about a guy from the past and I seemed irritated by that whereas generally I don't give a fuck about any of this shit since I'm constantly willing to WALK OUT). Thing is, I myself don't even know from where this shit comes, since I never talk about stuff like this or show weakness or else.
Also, a very important point that validates my reasoning, is that she started withdrawing sex lately, to which I responded negatively once or twice. She claims it hurts her lately, this is a thing that I've rarely seen with her. She's always been the one who initiates sex, blows me out of nowhere without even requesting it. I hate displaying these damn beta traits even though I'm fully aware of it. We live together at her place since 3 months and we've just decided to move in together next month. This also maybe plays a role in the sense that she maybe thinks that I haven't got the possiblity to WALK OUT anymore (i.e. full commitment).
The stress from work has really got its toll on me since lately. I want to get back my frame and get the relationship dynamics as it was before. What is the best course of action here. Withdraw attention without looking salty and try and get my shit together at work ? Dread ?
Your thoughts are appreaciated. Thank you.
