Intro
You may think I'm crazy for sharing this with you, but go ahead and judge.
What if I told you all realities exist in suspension simultaneously, and you decide with your mentality and actions which reality you will experience? That every possibility of yourself is all floating in hyperspace, just waiting for that potential to be chosen by your actions in the now?
Because that is exactly how you open portals and travel into other dimensions or universes.
The life you imagine for yourself is within the realm of possibility, and entirely within your grasp. All you need to see your dream life actualized, is the correct connection between your heart and your mind -- proper intent, and proper action.
A Mental Shift
Power comes with responsibility. Having the freedom to choose your path is an example of having power.
Sure, some may be in terrible circumstances, but remaining in those shitty circumstances is the choice people make to alleviate themselves from the struggle that comes with wielding power and responsibility.
Everyday, every waking moment from your first stretch after you rise from your slumber, you are making a decision of what character you are going to play in this game of life.
Are you going to be the version of yourself that hits snooze and goes back to sleep?
Are you going to be the version of yourself that "wakes up" by scrolling through social media for an hour before really getting up?
Are you going to be the version of yourself that jumps out of bed with gratitude, ready to take on day and achieve your goals?
Language is a hilarious and symbolic representation of life. "All the world's a stage," says Shakespeare. Have you ever wondered why people say get your act together, or develop your character? All of life is a fucking movie!
You are the Director, the lead actor, and the script writer of the movie that is your life.
As the script writer, you determine what kind of circumstances you want to experience. As the lead actor, you have the freedom to play around with, and live out / experience the script you're writing for yourself. By being your own director, you can determine if something from the script needs to be cut out, or if the way you're acting isn't going according to script.
If you write a script of your life where you're an attractive man, successful in his career and personal hobbies, yet your lead actor vegetates on the couch watching other men do what they should be doing, then you must direct your actor to get back on script! Fire him if you must! You are not stuck in any one identity or being. You don't have to label yourself and confine yourself into one container. Be dynamic, ever changing, able to adept.
If at any point the way you're acting is not getting the movie any closer to completion, fire that worthless actor, and hire the right one.
Hiring The Right Actor
You want to design a character that is powerful enough to thrive in the life you want for yourself.
Have you noticed in movies that some actors just seem "born" to play those roles? Keanu Reeves does good as a professional, strong yet silent type. Tom Cruz does well as the handsome hero. Brian Cranston nailed it as the drug kingpin walter white, yet also as the hilarious house-dad.
Those actors read the script, and chose it for themselves. They said "Yeah, this seems like an experience I'd like to have." Then they practiced the lines, listened to the directors guidance, and played their version of the on-paper character.
You have role models don't you? Real life mentors? Take the qualities in them that inspire you, and figure out how to cultivate that within yourself. The end goal isn't to become a clone of someone else. The goal is to be your expression of that quality that you value.
Imagine you know you were born to be a famous musician, yet you struggle for hours with the guitar and you just can't do it, despite the massive amount of effort you put into it. Then you touch the keys of a piano. It feels right, natural. You learn it fast.
You might not have been able to be "the guitar playing you," but the end goal of you being a famous musician is achieved, because that is the script you wrote for yourself. This is what it means to not miss the forest for the trees. Keep the big picture in mind, the end goal. You're not meant to be a clone and copy someone else, rather you are becoming your expression / your version of the successful quality that you admire. That is what drives you.
In the old days, young boys would experience many different kinds of men from their tribe or community, and gravitate towards the men they wanted to be like the most. Since the advent of the internet, we are now exposed to every single possible variation and character trait that could possible exist.
And the best part is, you only have to take the good stuff that you actually want for youself.
If the script you want to live out involves playing a character that is a fantastic musician, you can encounter the perfect teacher for you (on the net or in person,) who you may HATE other things about. Maybe he is fat, maybe he is blue-pilled with women, but man can the guy sing. Learn how to sing from him, and only that.
Character Flaws
Any weaknesses your character has, that you hate — you have the power to erase from the script.
If you notice you supplicate to people, that you're too nice, or that you don't talk to the women you want to, yet the character you wanna play in the game of life does the opposite of those things, then you have to attack your flaws.
You have to mentally choose to be stronger, or die trying, because it's more important to live the life you want to live than to compromise your values out of fear or to please other people.
The actor in yourself may not like the sudden changes to the script — they'll be angry, apprehensive, refuse to go with the changes, but as the director, you can force actor to fall in line. Or replace him.
Do you like the character that you're playing? Is the character you're playing somebody you're proud of?
Yes? Keep developing him.
No? Start developing him.
