22 years old recently graduated and landed a decent paying job right before COVID and was lucky enough to move back with parents rent free to work remote. I live in a bit a ways outside of NYC where there’s not much going on but very HCOL. Was living in nyc pre-pandemic and was having the time of my life socially. Since I went to school pretty far away and hometown kinda sucks so I have zero social life, no parties, no girls, just lift and work everyday. It Looks like I’m going to be permanently remote now and I’ve been getting advice that I should save money by not moving back to a city and paying rent, but fuck man missing out on social life while I’m young seems just as bad. Wanted to get some advice and see what some of you guys would do in this situation?
