Should start by saying I'm a young guy. Still in education, I've been on the main sub for two-ish years, started actually working on myself months later, gone to the gym for over a year and a half rn so my life's a whole lot better with everything I've learnt so far and I look much better but I couldn't find anything on mixed signals and shared culture with girl plays a part here.

I'm Muslim (somewhat religious), the girl in question is Muslim and very religious. She went to an all girls school and I know for a fact (not just guessing, know) I'm literally the first guy she's talked to in any significant capacity apart from family. I know for a fact even now I'm the only guy she tries talking to, texts, lets on her socials etc. Kinda surprised me after the girls I'm used to. Always up and way too close to me, playfully hitting me, tryna be alone with me, quadruple texting me when I leave her on read etc etc. Basically every choosing signal she could give but her friends, who think she's in denial, say she said its just platonic to them when they suggested me in private. Before her friend said this I was 100% sure she was into me so just a little confused what all this means since I don't have as much experience as some of the older guys on here probably have.

Do you really think she's just naive because she's never talked to guys and doesn't know doing all that means anything or is she just lying about how she feels about me to her friends so she don't look "bad" to them? I know you're gonna say that I'm not the first guy blablabla but in Islamic culture at my age when girls are super religious it's common to be the first guy.

Sorry if I've droned on or repeated myself but any sort of advice for my scenario or just mixed signals in general is appreciated since it might be useful beyond just this girl. Maybe she's just wasting my time or maybe I'm overthinking. I'm young, still relatively new to all this in comparison to a lot of you so I'd take all the knowledge you have. Rn just thinking of pulling back to see if she chases which would make it obvious.
