When I first joined this sub, it felt like a safe haven of men feeling confident in the masculinity, or just encouragement for men to find their own path and stick to it genuinely. True self help for men when sometimes that sort of self care is throw to the side and men in general have to live with it. The kind of place that says that a man CAN have feelings and is just as valid as anyone else.

But lately, I feel as though we have devolved. I see comments that are specifically on hating women, or the idea of women. Of stating men are "just used for utility," because of some assumed rhetoric of how women treat men (essentially downtalking our own gender entierly). Saying certain words are the "enemy's, and we wont use their language."

What happened to MGTOW? It used to be about support and community, and now its turned into gender politics and spewing hate just because people got dealt a bad hand/got friendzoned one too many times.

I just wanna see a sub again where we can be together as a foundation of motivation, instead of a place that seems to have the explicit purpose of just shitting on women. Isnt the focus of MGTOW to NOT revolve around the idea of sex and women being the most important focus in our lives? And instead we should be focused on genuine self improvement and gaining the willpower to stand up for ourselves?

If posting this gets me banned, fine. But I would argue me doing this is exactly what MGTOW taught me to do.
