Does being in an open relationship kill your sexual prospects as a man?

I agreed to have an open relationship recently but I am finding that women seem much less willing to engage with me sexually if i am already in an open relationship. I am wondering if any Guys here have had success with an open relationship or if it’s best in terms of sexual success with women to just stay single.
