Heya, new to TRP here and still trying to figure things out, but here is my report from my first day in the field as a new me.

Last wednesday I got invited to have fun this saturday with a group I met few weeks ago, but the guy who is my connection to the group canceled it few hours before we were supposed to meet (or just didnt want me to join), so I was rather annoyed. I started to contact other people and see what everyone is up to, otherwise I would go alone (what is not a bad thing anymore for me).

First girl (average looking at best) with who I have gone to parties several times before started to give me shit like I should wait if she can come / I should go somewhere else with her / she will call me later on and I join her. Normally I would be like okay okay whatever she wants, but now no way this shit aint happening! I told her that Im going out right now and if she wont join me now I probably wont hear her calls cos Im going to party hard. She seemed to get the message and was a bit startled, I head out alone feeling good.

I made some calls while walking and got invited by a guy I met last weekend. I met him next to a bar and got surprised that we werent going to the bar and he had a big punk group with him. Not a happy surprise considering they were almost all male and punk is not really my style, I started having second thoughts. Luckily there was a hot girl who would normally be way out of my league, but I decided to give it a try. We went to a shady looking outside place to drink and I quickly noticed that the hot girl was single and most of the guys were trying to hit her with very bad game. First I wanted to bail out cos the other guys were better looking and more of her style, but then I felt that the more the girl had to reject the other guys the more she felt open to me as I werent giving her any special attention. I gave her few weird comments to show I was not hitting her straight on (whats with the hair? etc.), seemed to work well. It started raining and she pushed herself into a tiny space next to me as I was sitting under a roof, even tho there was plenty of space next to other guys. I took this as a sign of interest (or that she just wanted to use me as a shield against other guys) and continued discussing more personal topics. I noticed she was enjoying talking to me and I would need to do something to get more in touch with her (literally), but then I failed hard. There was this guy in the group with strange accent and me being curious I asked about it from him... Yea, I know. The guy spent next half hour or so talking about himself and I was not able to brush him off, the girl left shortly after. Later on the police came and gave tickets for drinking outside and I head home.

While walking I called a friend I knew was drinking if he wanted to share a cab, but he was changing bar and invited me so I head there. The first girl who was supposed to call me if she goes to party was with my friend, normally I would go WTF on her, but now I just completely ignored her and kept my cool, she seemed to felt really awkward about the situation. There was one nice girl in the group, again out of my league, but I decided to give it a shot. We went to the bar, I casually talked to the girl staying under radar and laughing to guys trying to hit on her. We danced, talked for a while, danced and long ass talk and I noticed I was again having trouble taking the discussion to more physical level. She danced with a guy I thought was gay, but I left when I noticed her wearing the guys shirt. While I was leaving the first girl bumped to me and looked really troubled from the fact I had been ignoring her all night, she was sorry etc. and I probably would have tried getting her if not for the fact that she is not that good looking and in case she has something going on with my friend I dont want to risk my friendship with the guy for one night stand. I went to my apartment feeling good about the night.

TL;DR: Stopped average looking girl giving me shit. Had best game with a hot girl in a big group, failed to continue from discussion to more physical contact. Danced and talked with a nice looking girl, again failed discussion->physical. Got both girls numbers.
