We're supposed to hate China because they pollute, have interned millions of Muslims, and have regional aspirations of dominance. This is awful. I am not denying this. But what grinds my gears is that my fellow Americans are the loudest voices and have literally no sense of shame or self-awareness.

Americans are so comically fragile and defensive, which is normal for any "great" country. What's completely unprecedented, however, is how comically fragile and defensive Americans are while having the loudest voices about how "good" they are.

We keep spreading this meme that the American Empire has been "surprisingly tame" and is probably the most benevolent empire in modern history...but this is a complete joke. The U.S. government has literally overthrown more than 40 democratically elected governments on literally every continent including Australia. We spend more on our military than the next largest 25 Armies combined. In the Cold War, we overthrew more democratically elected governments per year than the fucking Nazis did at their peak.

Sure, the Nazis and Communists killed millions...but so has the U.S. We backed right wing death squads in Latin America and the Middle East that have to date collectively murdered millions. We have also started numerous wars that have resulted in the deaths of millions and creation of literally dozens of millions of refugees.

Does anyone remember the last time China gave chemical weapons of mass destruction to a Middle Eastern country and then invaded them for allegedly having a different set of chemical weapons (that they didn't actually have at any point) because terrorists from ANOTHER Middle Eastern country flew planes into Chinese buildings...because China was simultaneously carpet bombing literally over half a dozen Muslim countries simultaneously? Oh wait, China has never done anything close to that.

So why are Americans the loudest voices on Uighurs? What are you getting at? That the Chinese are evil because they are interning Muslims instead of carpet bombing them!?

When was the last time China wrecked an entire country and overthrew a democratically elected governments so that they could use cheap slave labor to sell bananas? Oh wait.

When was the last time China dropped a nuclear weapon on an active civilian population? Oh wait.

When was the last time China installed a puppet government in a Middle Eastern country to extract cheap oil? Oh wait.

When was the last time China installed a puppet government in a Middle Eastern country to extract cheap oil and then declared said Middle Eastern country a terrorist domicile subject to war because they understandably got pissed off and reacted by replacing the Chinese puppet government with an ultra-conservative and radical one that promised to never again let the Chinese meddle in their internal affairs? Oh wait.

Pollution? We still have China beat by that. Yes, China currently emits more greenhouse gases than us, but it's because they're producing OUR CHEAP SHIT. We're China's largest trading partner and it's not even close, over a third of Chinese-produced goods eventually find their way to American consumers. If China was wiped off the map today, greenhouse gas emissions would rise immediately again tomorrow as supply chains and factories begin to prop up again domestically. Additionally, almost half of all global plastic waste was discarded by Americans as we entered the 21st century. Unfortunately for the planet, the other countries are catching up.

This entirely consumerist and modern way of life observed around the world is a uniquely American invention. Additionally, this entirely consumerist and modern way of life is literally killing this planet and threatens all organized life on Earth.

Let's not even get into how rich Americans have spent the past decades literally hiring mercenaries and assassins to overthrow governments and kill activists that fight for the environment.

The environment isn't even the only shit that rich, religious Americans are fucking up. They prolonged the Troubles in Ireland by arming & funding the IRA and literally helped cause the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa to become a pandemic by lobbying for no birth control and threatening NGOS from other countries that were providing birth control and real sex education. Seriously, W. Bush threatened to stop partially funding the U.N. if they provided condoms.

The only people more brainwashed than North Koreans are Americans. But keep those down votes coming and denying the truth.
