So the fitness reddit pretty much removes everything that can be "found in the wiki" and hasn't been that helpful to me. I googled information and came across some good posts on fitness on this sub so I am hoping you guys can help me out there.

I am a 6 ft tall guy that weighs 184 lbs but I store fat in my abdominal and chest area so I actually look horrible without a shirt on. My goal is to lower my BF% which is currently at 23% and I want to get it down to 15% at least.

So far this is what I usually do on almost all days a the gym (4 to 5 days a week): Run on the treadmill, pull ups (3 sets, till failure), push ups (3 sets, till failure), and dips (3 sets, till failure). I go to the gym and do the same thing every day and I feel like this isn't that productive. At times I am a bit lost as I walk around and can't seem to find a workout to really do, occasionally I might do bicep curls.

Now I have had people suggest that I lift but my fear is that as I am cutting bodyfat, I won't really be increasing my lifts or anything like that which is why I have largely stayed away from lifting in this whole process. I will obviously be consuming less calories and eating at a deficit. Anyways, here are my two questions:

1 - How can I adjust my workouts? What should I be doing instead of the routine I usually do?

2 - If it requires lifting, how do I go about it in terms of how much weight I lift if my goal is to lose weight and lower body fat? Do I keep increasing the weight or just do the bare minimum in terms of that?
