How to kill need for validation?

Have a life that you're fully invested in to the point where you know you don't need anyone in order to follow your life path. Feeling sustained in that makes the need for validation disappear.

Everyone wants validation to a extent it’s human nature we are social beings and validation means your doing something right in society etc. only people who don’t truly care are sociopaths but the issue is when you base external validation as your own self worth. if your doing this then there’s a issue that needs fixing.

How? To be honest there was a highly upvoted post on TRP about it. Basically you kill it by getting a lot of external validation. Then you will know what you worth, and wont care anymore. Its kinda ironic isnt it?
