I've been lurking in this subreddit for a few weeks, I wouldn't say I've "swallowed the pill" but I have made a few, honestly minor, changes to my lifestyle as of late to try and resolve the negative mindset I've been experiencing for while. For example, I've been running and lifting at least three times per week, I've been doing simple meditation in the morning, and I've cut down on junk food and caffeine by quite a bit. Physically, I feel pretty good, I've lost a bit of belly fat and I sleep way better than I was a few weeks ago. Despite this, I've honestly been stuck in a rut mentally and people around me are beginning to comment on it. I've even noticed myself that I've been fairly irritable and my face looks like I haven't slept in a while(Flushed complexion, circles under the eyes etc.) despite improving my sleep schedule and experiencing deeper sleep. I've been trying to act and feel dominant and energetic, but I've been feeling sluggish and dull for weeks; imagine that feeling when you're sleepy but enough to fall asleep quite yet.

If it helps to know my background I'll give you the short version. I'm 19, not in horrible shape, just tall and lanky. I work about 35 hours a week as a cook at a decent restaraunt, which a decent job (10.50/hr) but it's pretty stressful. I also go to college, and am taking four classes at the moment and recently decided to change my to computer science next semster. I still have a fair bit of FreeTime that I usually spend listening to audiobooks , browsing Reddit and YouTube and a few hours of gaming/TV here and there, but I'm still busy most of the week.

I'd appreciate any advice you guys have; and please understand that my purpose is not get out here and bitch about how hard life is, I'm here to figure out what I need to do to improve my productivity and my outlook. I'm well aware that the problem isn't my circumstances but how I'm handling them.

Thanks for the help.
