Also is this person suggesting that sex work would no longer exist under socialism? As in the state would just make it illegal or they'd be expected to do it for free? That doesn't sound like feminism to me.

I will start from the assumption that this commenter is suggesting a socialist system is better than a capitalist one.

What is misunderstood here is that a capitalist system is always going to be a better system for women to live under. Women are drawn to rich powerful men in all systems. It is a side effect of evolution where the most powerful men where the most likely to provide strong children genetically and be able to protect those children and the women. So it was a natural choice.

In a communist or socialist system that has moved towards communism (which is inevitable) the only powerful men will be those corrupt officials that are part of the state. And they make horrible partners.

So things do not look good in this situation for the average women that craves a powerful mate.

Capitalism tends to have more sane less corrupt powerful mates.

Although it does also have some nasty individuals. Just a lot less.

Capitalism is the only reason feminism exists. Capitalists started feminism to get women outta the house and into their factories as a source of cheap labor for jobs men traditionally didnt want to perform.

Today, capitalists are the ones pushing feminism the hardest. That's why there's one Fox News and the rest are liberal, pro-feminism news media outlets. Then there's Disney, Amazon, Sony, etc etc.... the biggest corporations ran by the wealthiest people all pushing a feminist agenda.

Divide and conquer, destruction of the nuclear family, single parent homes with people that must live paycheck to paycheck and stay too preoccupied with trying to scrape by they have no time or energy left for being involved with the political process, or voting, or anything that could wrestle power away from the capitalists. That's the whole reason why.

Feminists are too naive to realise their whole working model of the world is based on one big scam.

Capitalism is when men work in the private sector to provide goods and services. 80% of consumer spending decisions are made by women. Capitalism is ultimately mostly about catering to the wants and wishes of women.
