I graduated from high school last June, and am currently taking a gap semester. My teeth aren't terrible, but I need braces, that'll probably take 1 year or so go straighten my teeth. I'm wondering if I should avoid this during college, as braces will negatively affect my appearance, or just say fuck it, and do it now.

Also I might be high enough SMV to pull once I gain some weight/put on muscle, I'm 6' 3" 170, and my face is a 6-7 despite having a slightly lazy eye and somewhat crooked teeth. The problem is that I don't want it to be too late to have a good college life, and end up having braces until junior year, but I also want this done ASAP. Being introverted plus having braces, I'll probably become reclusive minus a few close friends. Maybe I could just use the time to go monk mode and focus on school. Input?
