First, lulz at HanSwoleOh's comment; well done, sir.

Accuracy is of little bearing next to a girl's emotional state. It colors all her perceptions. If you say "hi" and it influences her in a negative emotional manner, you didn't just say "hi". You creeped on her and made a pass at her and clearly you might be a stalker.

If, on the other hand, that "hi" brightened her day...OMG, you were clearly flirting with her! It must be the new hair! Squeee!

Don't try to understand a girl. Rather, learn to read her. It's much easier and results in less banging your head on the desk.

Thank you op. I really appreciate it. Your example sounds exactly like some of the one's I've encountered. So it makes me feel like it's not just me.

And here's one way I think it goes: said girl is talking to another girl about you, and she quickly learns the other girl doesn't think your cool. So then the first girl will paint her conversation as if she didn't either. Because she's a coward and wouldn't have the balls (obviously) to say "oh. well, you don't think he's cool. that's interesting cuz I had a great time with him, I do think he's cool." No, instead they will go "ugh, I know. he was such a creeper. couldn't stand him."

That's why I'm saying reputation is so important. If the other girl would've thought you were cool, when she was talking to her she would've said. "I know, omg we had so much fun. He was like flirting w/me too. you think he'll call me?"

Gentlemen, let this be a reminder to check your women. Local court records are in the public domain (excluding sealed/expunged cases) and freely searchable through your state's court access website. You can search criminal, family, civil, even traffic court cases.

Here are my court access sites for Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Don't be surprised if your HB8 has priors for theft or assault. I had a girl tell me she didn't have any kids while court records showed a lengthy custody battle with her ex. I also discovered a potential roommate's felony theft conviction. Many bullets dodged.
