You can pretty much always trust Clint, and same goes for Mel Gibson. They're both romantics at heart, though, which is an interesting contrast. What can you say? Being a man isn't easy!

EDIT: I have always loved one of Clint's lines from the Good the Bad and the Ugly. The Bad, working as a jailer in a POW camp has just tortured Tuco's (the Ugly) half of the secret of the treasure out of him. He then proposes to set up a partnership with Clint (the Good) to go find the treasure. The Good says, "you're not going to give me the same treatment as him?" The Bad says, no. It's not that I think you're any tougher than him. You're just smart enough to know that it wouldn't do you any good.
