I had a very weird date today with a man I met through OLD. His profile seemed normal, he wrote normal sounding messages and he seemed normal when we spoke in a video chat. But during the date he was very weird. - We had to walk a little way from the place we met to the cafe. He walked a pace or two ahead of me the whole way so it was hard to talk. - Talking to him was awkward. Twice he brought the conversation back to asking me if I like to cook. (I don’t!) - About half an hour into the date he remembered he had brought flowers. He had shoved them into his rucksack so when he pulled them out there were petals missing and they were squashed. - After we left he invited me to walk around and play Pokémon go with him. - When I logged into the app this evening I had a message from him saying he hoped I wasn’t too bored by him and asking me on another date. I blocked him on the app and he managed to find me on Facebook. He wrote me this message:

Sorry to interfere in your privacy by finding you on Facebook. I have an urgent request for you.

Since our date didn’t go well, Can you send me the cost I payed for you?

Should I respond? He clearly needs the money more than I do! But I can’t pay him back using the app unless I give him my phone number and I can’t bank transfer without giving him my full name which would make it easy for him to find my workplace etc online. I don’t want to give him any more details about me but I am also concerned that if I block him on Facebook then he will just find me some other way.
