A lot of what I read on FDS suggests that if you've dated for 2.5+ years and aren't married by then, the relationship is not HV. I really don't think thats long enough to know someone to make a commitment to spend the rest of your life together. Five years is long enough imo, does this go against any FDS rules explicitly?
