I more or less missed out on the college experience so I cannot be so sure but from what I have seen, there is some wild stuff going on involving 20 somethings fresh out of college that move to a big city. One friend of mines who was in a fraternity in college but moved to NYC right afterwards says that the parties were wilder, girls were doing crazier things, and 20 somethings were a lot more crazier with the stuff than the college kids he knew.

Now I found this to be true as well. In my college days, all of the craziness was limited to Greek Life and it seemed like a lot of people tried to keep up the innocent act. You might have one or two big parties a semester and that was it. Even then the alcohol was not all that great and it wasn't as crazy. After college I found that the bars and clubs in big cities were loaded with craziness and if you went to the right house parties, things got wild and more hedonistic fast.

The girls also do wilder shit in a big city since it seems like they don't play the status games as aggressively while in college, every girl was looking out for her status and trying to keep up the good girl image, only going after a few socially approved guys.

Then again I think I feel this way because I never really experienced a lot of the craziness of college as much as I should have and I went to a university that was more academically prestigious as opposed to a big party school.

One thing he says is now that girls aren't being watched as closely by their social circles anymore like they were in college, they become a lot wilder and get with various guys because there aren't that many people to judge them anymore.
