Harsh reality (red pill) sugar coated (blue pill). One can refuse to believe it and feel good with lies (like, NAWALT) but with age one has to face the inevitable.

Spending a decade or more to chase what is advertised as nice beings only to get entangled in a web of deception and cunningness. And then suffer the rest of the years in regret and slavery - slavery to the woman you married, your own choices made in blue pill times.

Instead could have dealt (or not dealt) with them with a realist perspective and lived life on your own terms.

Eh, I always object when people use "Well, life isn't fair" as an excuse for shitty behaviour. It is our moral obligation to make it fair. We are the part of the universe that is conscious. We are the part of the world that can judge and act accordingly. There's no justice - there's just us. And anytime you don't strive for what is right you are abrogating the responsibilities inherent in the possession of a mind.

Recognizing that others don't see this doesn't free you from those responsibilties.

Connections, money and one's look [ I would add luck here too, but I consider 'luck' a combination of those three's ] are what propulses one towards success in most cases.

The world runs on justice too. It's just not easy to notice for most people because this kind of justice has nothing to do with laws, courts etc. It's not something that can easily be seen while power on the other hand is easy to notice for everyone. So most people aren't even aware of what I'm talking about. The universe itself is designed in a way that makes it so people can not escape justice. Just because in this world, people who are scumbags don't instantly get put in prison or executed or never have to experience those things doesn't mean the only thing that matters in this world is power. The laws of the universe are above the laws of men and can not be altered or dismissed.

Man as a being doesn’t have to ability to operate without basic essentials like freedom, honor, justice and fairness. Unlike women, who tend to thrive in such situations. So much so that they do their best to bring about such situations.
