I've been in a relationship for 4 months with a HB8. Overall, things are going alright, but there's one problem: this girl is needy and insecure. It's not putting that much strain on the relationship so I'm not willing to next her yet.

This girl is very much in love with me, and knows that I'm not in love with her yet. She will do pretty much anything for me if I would ask for it and the control of the relationship is obviously in my hands.

Now lately, she has been a bit annoying with an increase in shit tests and general nagging about stupid shit. So far I've maintained my frame, passed most of the comfort tests and remained calm in these situations, but on the inside I'm getting a bit annoyed by her need for drama.

Tonight, she and I will be at a christmas party, where my ex will be too. My current girlfriend knows my ex is still in love with me.

What would you do in this situation? My girlfriend knows she has been misbehaving and claims 'she's gonna do better', but I don't buy any of it. Would you go ahead and talk to your ex, knowing that your current girlfriend will see it? The main purpose of course is showing that she's replaceable and that I have options.
