I self-sabotage when I got close to this chick that I knew there wouldn't be a future with (she has kids).

I've seen other threads in which guys can't pull the trigger even though there's attraction because they don't want to hurt the girl and themselves getting into something that has no future. It all made sense logically, stuff like just go for it because she also may not be looking for something permanent.

But when put in that position myself, I'm like Bermuda Triangle lost. I've had a similar situation in the past when the girl did want more and it led to a drama-filled slow breakup.

How did you deal with it? So far I'm just nexting.
