Going somewhere by yourself can be seen as something a ballsy mofo does or the way you seem to be casting it, something someone that doesn't have other options does.

I go traveling solo all the time. People in my social circle are always ooh-ing and aah-ing at the fact that I can do that. Everyone is terrified of doing something on their own; they always need someone by their side. Do you know the real reason? It's because majority of people in this world are little bitches. Afraid to make decisions, afraid to think two steps ahead.

Most of the people I know in my life "vacation" in all-inclusive resorts. You couldn't pay me to go to that shit. You're barely even outside of your comfort zone.

You need to change your mentality first and foremost. Go to NYC, go to South America, go to Asia. Do it all alone. Meet people. Create memories. Come back with a shit-eating grin and tell everyone how awesome it was.

It takes a shit ton of guts to travel somewhere new alone. People generally don't even have the balls to go to 6 flags alone, let alone travel into the unkown.

Own it, say you went by yourself and it was a fucking thrill and a wild adventure. Talk about it like you're Christopher Columbus and u just discovered a new continent. People should be begging you to tell stories.
