This isnt the case for all fatherless homes, a lot of the times its the fathers fault. I suggest you grow up and forgive your mother/father and if it still bothers you that much you can vow to change the outcome for your children. At a certain point in life you gotta grow the fuck up and be a man.

Disagree. My father was a drunk, a drug addict, and physically abusive to my mother, my brother, and myself. He was also a serial cheater, in which he would take me and my brother along as a cover story while he fucked his whores in their secret rendezvous. When I was 10, he abandoned his family to go be with one of his affair partners.

I don't blame my mother, because I remember he wasn't always like that. He became like that. The last time I heard from him was when I was in my late 20's. He called me a week after my mother passed away. It was nice to hear how he got cleaned up, had a good job, and married a good woman. Then nothing more after that. I found out a few years ago from my aunt (his older sister) that he passed away in a coma the hospital put him into because of a botched operation.

My father was absent from my childhood because he chose to be. Perhaps he reached out to me years later because he wanted to make amends. I don't know, I never got the chance to find out. I can't place the blame on my mother. She did her best in a shitty situation.

Men arent perfect and many men are flawed parents. Women can also be very flawed parents.

Sometimes its the mum and sometimes its the dad. Out of my friends with divorced, 4 out of 5 were due to the dad cheating, being abusive to his wife or children, mental health issues and addictions.

The one with the mum being the reason they split was due to her worsening mental health issues and their parents split so the mother could take time for herself to see if she could get better.
