I'm in the Air Force which you can harp on for being gay any way lol. Jokes aside the military has gotten really lame and it hasn't at the same time. Most enlisted guys could give 2 shits about this stuff and we all cut up and have good comradery like you'd expect. The officers on the other hand (the ones making the decisions for Big Air Force) push this crap and make us look bad. We have to do mandatory training and "standdowns" to learn about and discuss diversity and all this nonsense. I actually had an officer say that it was fair that women could get into a job like security forces when their standards are a third of the men's. I was like the whole point of standards is that they show if you can handle the physical demand of the job. And he couldn't grasp that concept

Me2 has been in the military for a long time. It just wasn't called that.

Its hard to get birth control in a combat zone military base. Everyone is stressed and wants to screw. So the women get pregnant.

The woman can choose to tell the truth and go to the brig for having sex in a combat zone, or she can say she was raped and go home as a victim and have an abortion while the guy gets arrested.

For that reason, they’re pandering to a broader audiences to fill the spots. The real army is a giant frat with conglomeration of aggressive men vying for a spot at the top of the totem pole. You have to keep in mind that there’s a huge difference between the US Armed Forces and those of Russia and China. US is an all-volunteer force. Russian and Chinese military personnel are conscripts. As in, all eligible males are going to serve. They don’t actually have to “recruit” anyone.

So, what are they selling? They are selling adventure and pride in the service. You are required to join, but you are becoming a part of this fighting machine. National pride. You are joining something bigger than yourself. You are fighting for your country, your family and friends. Individual fades out amongst the uniformed personnel and equipment.

US military service has been advertised since they got rid of the draft to be a way of self-actualization. You may be old enough to remember “Be All that You Can Be” days of Army recruiting. They’ve mainly sold military service as a way to get ahead, get a scholarship, maybe a career.

Those old standards don't apply because modern warfare isn't like old warfare. You can get a job where you just drone strike someone from behind a desk while eating a bag of cheetos. I don't see a problem with anyone who wants to serve serving gay,straight,trans or women.Thete are lots of jobs in the military,a woman or Trans can fly a drone and press buttons as well as a man.

China is a diffrent story man for man they out number the US even if every American man woman and child fought the US would still be incredibly out numbered to fight the Chinese the US will have to have women there aren't enough men.

But this would most likely come down to naval and air battles as well,The US would not step foot on Chinese or Russian soil so once again no need for a military solely of big burly men.Their navies and air forces would be destroyed ports factories and supply lines leveled mostly from drone strikes and offshore naval vessels hundreds of miles away.

And no other country 9n Earth has the technological and logistical capabilities to pose the US any real threat or require the US to have some massive standing army to defeat.

IRAQ and Afghanustan was just a gold mine for military contractors basically just crypto for war and probably a huge governmental money laundering effort for what ever reason I shouldn't even talk about.But do you really think the US couldn't beat those countries in 20 years lol.They could have done it in a few months if they wanted.

So women in the military isn't a problem at all most aren't in combat rolls someone has to do pay roll mail logistics type shit on computers make sure supplies gets delivered where it's supposed to be.Only Gays want an all male military.

They are recruitment videos. They are sending a message to the audience of people they are trying to recruit. Not to mention, there are numerous US army recruiting ads that are badass and show the toughest of the tough. I would caution you to not make a judgment off of one hand selected set of videos, two from very different countries with very different ways of governing than the US. All that to say, the army is recruiting college educated people with diversity of thought since that tends to drive a greater array of solutions to problems and leads to money saving ideas. Just my two cents
