Hey people,
So I've met this girl some time ago through mutual friends, and we just briefly talked while we were together with our friends. Turns out she's a high school senior and my mom is teaching her class. She added me on Facebook and gave me her phone number. I wanted to ask her out, but I'm worried that her peers might start gossiping how she's in a privileged position since she's dating her teacher's son. It might make the situation very uncomfortable for both her and my mom. What do you guys think, what should I do? Ask her out, or wait for her to graduate, and in the meantime search for other girls? She's graduating at the end of May, which is almost 6 months away. That's a lot of time to wait, and the outcome is uncertain. There's spring break at the beginning of April, I was wondering if it might be a good time to ask her out and see what will happen, instead of waiting for another 2 months. This might sound like a case of scarcity mentality, and I agree that it might be, it's not like I have a million other options right now.
All tips are more than welcome. Thanks and Happy New Year.
