(Intro, scroll down for philosophy)
Who am I? I'm a 19 year old zoomer. 1st gen hispanic who is about as white washed as they come. I was a band kid in high school and was with a girl who cheated on me after I let her live with me. This all happened about 5 months ago and since then, I have been on a journey to fully understand the culture that we live in. I didn't want to believe it, but post-heart break and post-relationship clarity is very real.
I might just be too young to see it, seriously maybe that is the case.
I understand what the red pill is. I read it over and over and over. The red pill is a tool. Ultimately, it encourages men to improve themselves, to not allow others to judge them, to live life as confidently and as intelligently as they can. It seems like TRP is the only thing that encourages men to put themselves first.
I grew up watching Disney movies and Nickelodeon shows which idealized "Love" and treating women like princesses. I believed soulmates and eternal love were real. My grandparents were together for 40+ years until my grandpa died. My friends all have stories of these long, truly life lasting relationships and it all warms my heart.
Sadly, I'm a bit of an old soul in that regard. I'm not a "nice guy", I don't bend over to people and I do not think I "deserve" love or anything stupid like that. I see how things are nowadays. When my ex cheated on me, I couldn't believe it happened to me. I figured out my own shortcomings. I thought all the red pill "nonsense" was just guys who chose shitty women/partners. That kid who I was died at that very moment. I reflected back on all of high school, the other women, the other guys, all of whom I avoided because I hated how nasty everything was and IS (somehow it's only getting worse). I realized that my ex was just like the rest of them, she didn't "get it", even when she told me how we would have kids/move out together/ create a bright future, she never meant it. People are more shallow than they have ever been.
I saw firsthand in high school how disgusting both chicks and guys can be. Cheating everywhere, degeneracy everywhere. I am not prude, but you cannot deny the very real danger of promiscuity and this narcissistic society that has been created. It's a culmination of a lot of things. Celebrity culture, Ego-centrism pushed by social media, rap culture, need I go on? We all see it.
- TRP and Morality (Philosophy)
"It is amoral. It is up to the individual to add morality to it."
True. I guess it's just my naïve nature, but to me the problem is obvious. Anything amoral is inherently immoral. Stupid argument? Hear me out.
Men are truly "alpha" when they are dangerous but do the right thing. This doesn't mean they don't use their power, but rather, that they are overall moral and want what is best for everyone. In life there will be opportunities and moments where you might have to step on some throats to get what you want - so be it. You will never get anywhere being the nice guy who never goes after opportunity because you are afraid of others disliking you. However, this justification is used for fuck boys and degenerates that are apart of this culture that we live in now.
It's immoral/amoral (take your pick) people in general who have created this disaster that we are in. The red pill isn't interested in fixing society, but instead seems to have a philosophy of "take what you can, society is doomed anyways."
"You don't get to judge others/who are you to judge?"
I will judge, because we all do. Judgement and "morality policing" is what created western civilization. In fact, I would argue that the lack of both is what has created this disaster that we call "modern culture". I don't care if this is considered blue pilled or whatever. I am pretty disgusted at people who encourage cheating, I am pretty disgusted by cheaters, I am incredibly disgusted at guys who brag about how many women they have sex with. I hate how shallow this all is. To me (and I cannot be the only one), it seems like some of these "red pillers" only improve themselves with the mindset that someday they will have their fun once they have "made it". Plating, ONSs, etc.
Is there a moral redpill? One that isn't looking to "game" women? One that doesn't want to contribute to the collapse? Maybe MGTOW is the closest thing there is to it.
We all are eating these red pills because AWALT and "It's just your turn", but as a result, you are only contributing to the collapse. You think you are "gaming" the system, when in reality, you have become apart of this matrix. This matrix that has turned women and men into hedonistic creatures that don't care about a better tomorrow. They don't want to build up society or their own communities. Social media, dating apps, modern celebrity worship culture and more have created this shit stain that we call 21st century society. Rather than try and right the ship, we are all collectively deciding to be like them? Except this time it's different because you know when to move on? Huh?
For now I'm just going my own way and I do not plan on dating for a while. I am really not a crazy guy, I'm not a sperg. I just really do not see anything hopeful in these movements/ideologies.
TLDR; Why is there no morality in the red pill? It seems like MGTOW and TRP don't give a shit about fixing society. Or at least maintain some semblance of a healthy one
